What is Articleship

A student is required to undergo about 3 years of practical training known as “Articleship”. The Chartered Accountancy course, thus, involves a unique blend of compulsory theoretical education practical training, Which runs concurrently for a period of about 3 years. Theoretical knowledge is integrated and re-inforced with practical training. The practical training of 3 years should be done after the completion of CA Intermediate under ICAN and 3 years after the completion of IPCC under ICAI.
